A man rushed to the gate of his house to find out who the visitor was. He discovered he was a friend he had met years ago in the university. He hesitated to receive the warm embrace of his visitor because he was not pleased with what he saw. For one, his visitor's dressing was below his expectation.
A t-shirt, a short and a pair of cheap snickers was not his idea of good dressing on a working day, and for a man who graduated 15 years ago. Secondly, he did not see a car packed in front of his gate, meaning the visitor did not have one. He quickly decided he was not going to allow the visitor pass the yard into the house. He had enough of his own financial problems than to be infested with a chronic poverty virus. After a couple of exchanges, and to the man's relief, the visitor announced he was leaving. By this time a 2014 Lexus SUV drove in front of the gate.
As the visitor crawled into the back seat, he handed a letter to his host and said, "I have asked the agent not to bother you for rent until you are fully back on your feet. I own the property. Have a nice day, buddy."
