THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

All the fruits of the Holy Spirit are love in different colours.

√ LOVE, GOD is LOVE and LOVE is the fulfilment of the law.

√JOY is LOVE in its boiling state. It is love welling up to enrich both God and man.

√PEACE is when LOVE is calm even in difficult times.

√PATIENCE is when LOVE is waiting and holding on.

√KINDNESS is when LOVE extends favour to other people willingly.

√GOODNESS is when LOVE does excellent things to build up others, stop moral decay, manifest God's glory and promote justice in the society.

√FAITHFULNESS is when LOVE is dependable and accountable, when LOVE profitably handles a business.

√GENTLENESS is when LOVE is tender, amiable or considerate.

Of The Fox Or Tiger...

A fox who lived in the deep forest of long ago had lost its front legs. No one knew how: perhaps escaping from a trap. A man who lived on the edge of the forest , seeing the fox from time to time, wondered how in the world it managed to get its food. One day when the fox was not far from him he had to hide himself quickly because a tiger was approaching. The tiger had fresh game in its claws. Lying down on the ground, it ate its fill, leaving the rest for the fox.

Again the next day the great Provider of this world sent provisions to the fox by this same tiger. The man began to think: "If this fox is taken care of in this mysterious way, its food sent by some unseen Higher Power, why don't I just rest in a corner and have my daily meal provided for me?"

Because he had a lot of faith, he let the days pass, waiting for food. Nothing happened. He just went on losing weight and strength until he was nearly a skeleton. Close to losing consciousness, he heard a Voice which said: "O you, who have mistaken the way, see now the Truth! You should have followed the example of that tiger instead of imitating the disabled fox."

THE STORY ABOUT VANITY OF LIFE.....

🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃

🌿One Sunday morning, a wealthy man sat in his balcony enjoying the sunshine and his coffee when a little ant caught his eye; going from one side to the other side of the balcony, carrying a big leaf several times more than its size.

🌿The man watched it for more than an hour. He saw that the ant faced many impediments during its journey, paused, took a diversion and then continued towards its destination.

🌿At one point the tiny creature came across a crack in the floor. It paused for a little while, analyzed and then laid the huge leaf over the crack, walked over the leaf, picked the leaf on the other side then continued its journey.

🌿The man was captivated by the cleverness of the ant, one of God’s tiniest creatures.

🌿The incident left the man in awe and forced him to contemplate over the miracle of Creation. It showed the greatness of the Creator.
🌿Before his very eyes was this tiny creature of God, lacking in size yet equipped with a brain to analyze, contemplate, reason, explore, discover and overcome.

🌿Along with all these capabilities, the man also noticed that this tiny creature shared some human shortcomings.

🌿The man saw about an hour later that the creature had reached its destination – a tiny hole in the floor which was entrance to its underground dwelling.

🌿At this point the ant’s shortcoming that it shared with man was revealed.

🌿How could the ant carry the large leaf it carefully managed to its destination into the tiny hole? It simply couldn’t!

🌿So the tiny creature, after all the painstaking and hard work and exercising great skills, overcoming all the difficulties along the way, just left behind the large leaf and went home empty-handed.

🌿The ant had not thought about the end before it began its challenging journey and in the end the large leaf was nothing more than a burden to it.

🌿The creature had no option, but to leave it behind, to reach its destination.

🌿The man learned a great lesson that day. Isn’t that the truth about our lives?

🌿We worry about our family,
🌿We worry about our job,
🌿We worry about how to earn more money,
🌿We worry about where we should live – 5 bedroom or 6 bedroom house.
🌿What kind of vehicle to buy – a Mercedes or Honda or BMW or a Porsche?
🌿What kind of dress to wear?
🌿All sorts of things, only to abandon all these things when we reach the entrance to our destination – {THE GRAVE} when we realize we cannot enter our destination with all these things.

🌿We don’t realize in our life’s journey that these are just burdens that we are carrying with utmost care and fear of losing them, only to find that at the end, they are useless and we can’t take them with us.

🌿The ONLY TREASURE that lasts FOREVER is; OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR CREATOR - GOD.

🌿So ask yourself, "AM I USING MY WHOLE LIFE TO SERVE HIM?

🌿May God guide us all and remove from our hearts the excessive love we have for this world. Amen. Shalom

The Ultimate Spy

Getting dressed this morning didn’t seem much like a big deal to Janet, as she took a stroll down the road, back to her cozy little bedroom. Humming to herself, she wondered why the day seemed different. The sky was still blue and the grasses green. She yawned lazily as she drew the curtains back – as her phone kept ringing. Ignoring the calls, she headed for the bathroom, rushed a shower and got dressed.
Turning the key in the keyhole, she looked up and saw the beggar boy approaching. “Not again!” she thought as she took careful steps down the stairs to where she parked her car. He approached her with hopeful eyes, wishing for a repetition of what had become consistent for almost two weeks. “Help a beggar boy ma’am” he said, squinting his eyes with his arms outstretched. Leaning on his crutches, he smelled of stink and was properly dressed in rags. His rough face and disheveled hair told tales of poverty and hunger.
“I told you not to come here again!” she raged, glaring at him.
“Help a beggar boy ma’am” he reiterated, sweat dripping from his forehead. Reluctantly, she dropped a gold coin in his white-turned-brown bowl and watched his expression change, as he smiled and waved her a bye.
Getting into her car, she replayed the events of the past week in her mind. Someone had broken into the bank where she worked and had carted away several gold coins. She had been placed as the investigating officer in charge, being the most recent recipient of the institution’s award for the Most Trusted Employee. She settled and mapped out new strategies and plans for nabbing a thief.

The moody atmosphere of the office did not escape unnoticed as everyone went about their work silently and down-spirited. The usual bubbly and chatty spirit of the workers seemed to have vanished into thin air. They were gradually running into bankruptcy and the thief had not been caught yet. The manager had been hospitalized since the unfortunate incident. Moving hastily, she began to work. She had series of board meetings to attend. Drawings, maps, different proposals, all laid out before her as she attended to each of them.
“Going home was a big relief” she thought, sighing as she approached the front porch of her flat later that evening.
“Help a beggar boy ma’am” she heard behind her! Ready to shun him down, she turned in disgust, but wasn’t quite prepared for the scene that greeted her.
Right behind her were three policemen with the beggar boy standing directly in front of them. But this didn’t look like the beggar boy she used to know. He appeared well-dressed, clean-shaved and had the demeanor of one who just landed a jackpot.

“B…u…t, I…t…h…o…u…g…h…t…” she stammered, shock written over her body, hands trembling.
“Yes ma’am” the beggar boy replied. ‘We have been watching your movements silently for over two weeks. You were probably not smart enough; else you would have wondered why I approached only you in the neighborhood and why I started coming just after the theft. Well ma’am, you were initially the least of our suspects but we couldn’t help trying. You probably thought no one would suspect you since you seem to be the most trusted in the company. Well, we really appreciate your assistance so far and just for keeps, don’t let out stolen money to a beggar. We sincerely hope you kindly lead us to your co-associates. Thank you ma’am”.
“B…u…t…” she kept on stammering as the sounds of the handcuffs jolted her back to reality.

Tragic Hero Unveils Album Cover and Release Date

Two years after releasing the critically acclaimed project, "The Resistance" with Wes Pendleton, Tragic Hero is finally ready to release his debut album titled, "My Own Worst Enemy". The New Jersey MC has been quietly working for almost a year on what is set to be his most personal project to date.
"The album cover speaks on the self-destructive nature of man and the ongoing inner struggle that most listeners can relate to." Tragic Hero says in reference to the album cover.
The idea for the album cover was first conceptualized by Esteban Shedd (Humble Beast Records) with Tragic Hero, and then later executed by Adam Smith for Scouts Honor Media. Tragic Hero has already released his first single titled, "Winter", which can be purchased on iTunes.
The new album is set to release in May, 2015

That Mystery by Olokunde Oluwadamilare

I show thee a mystery...

If you are born once, you will die twice.
If you are born twice, you will die once.

Dear,
ARE YOU BORN AGAIN???

Have you been made partaker of the divine nature???

Think about it!!!

Ain't talking about positive improvement or adjustment in the way you live your life. I'm talking about a complete change of nature...

Know that, that which is born of the flesh is of the flesh no matter the education, theological knowledge or humanitarian services.

This morning, If you are not SO sure that you are born again, its not too late. It can only be too late and disastrous if you decide to procrastinate...

Therefore, this morning, by faith, go to the throne of grace. Talk to your father. He is ever willing to accept you no matter what you might have done.

He is extending His hand of love and grace to you now. Why not Confess Him as your saviour and Lord and He will seal you with the holy spirit of promise....

HOW???

1. accept Him as the one who came to take away your sins and give you a new life.
2. Believe in your heart that He is able to save you and give you eternal life.
3. Confess Him as you Lord and saviour. Confess that you are now the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. And don't stop confessing Him. Tell the whole world!!!!

If you've sincerely done this from your heart, I congratulate you and welcome you to the kingdom of God.

Get a bible believing church and keep growing in the knowledge of Jesus through the holy spirit that you've received...

I can't wait to hear your testimony....

Have a great day .

You are treasured!!!!

Feel free to share!!!

Have you Read About The Iron Cross?

Early in the nineteenth century, the King of Prussia, Frederick William III, found his nation in great trouble. He had been attempting to bring prosperity to his land, but constant wars had drained the treasury. After prayerful consideration, he wrote an open letter to the women of Prussia asking them voluntarily to bring their silver and gold to be melted down.
He offered a small token of appreciation to anyone who contributed. In exchange for their jewelry, he gave them a simple cross made of iron. It was inscribed, "I gave gold for iron, 1813." The response was overwhelming. The women of Prussia prized the gift from the king more highly than they had prized their former possessions. Women wore the iron cross with pride. In fact, gold jewelry became unfashionable. The Order of the Iron Cross was established, and members wore no ornaments save a cross of iron for all to see.

Today, we need an order of people who are committed to the King of Kings: people who will sacrifice for God's kingdom, people who esteem God's favor more than the esteem of friends and strangers. In the third century, Bishop Cyprian said, "Their property held them in chains which shackled their courage and choked their faith and hampered their judgment and throttled their souls. If they had stored up their treasure in heaven, they would not be enslaved as they are to their own property. They are not the masters of their money, but its slaves."

HOLD MY HAND...

Once a little girl and her father were crossing a bridge. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter, "Sweetheart , please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river."

The little girl said, "No, Dad. You hold my hand."

"What's the difference?" asked the puzzle father.

"There's a big difference," replied the little girl.

"If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go."

Tribute to Oduntan Emmanuel EmmyG

Trust me, this is long. A touching message I received this morning from my wonderful "family" on my birthday---

Tribute to Emmanuel Oduntan EmmyG
You are truly a spiritual nightingale!

I was walking through some memory lanes, trying to recapture some moments scarcely forgotten, and somehow re-live the ardour, the humour, and the tenderness of having you around to behond, and of having you in front to beloved.

After all this years, suddenly I realised like so many of your loved ones will also find that I only know this much about you, although I always thought I knew you all but seriously and stunningly, YOU ARE JUST TOO MUCH to define in a book or a lifetime. You are an enigma of fun, a colossal of exploits, and a dosage of love to our world.

Your smiles,
I must confess here that you have the loveliest smiles around. Your smiles are always seductive and contagious so much so that they give you away as a pseudo-shy person, even though you prefer being seen as quiet but in reality your smiles says it all; 'can't hide here forever, got to say it as i see it, and am sorry it is a joke, let my teeth catch a glimpse too please'. That's the picture that often forces out your sacred smiles. I know you love to laugh more than you smile, not knowing that even when you are merely looking, you are smiling. I can only imagine how many of us tripping just for your smiles alone.

When you do smile, the ladies lightens up, the guys takes a bow, and the room gets bigger by itself all of a sudden. The lines of affections, the dimples of honesty, and the looks of sweetness on your face makes the most delightful digest on any heart any day. I know you got to have few downtime but I also know your easy smile might never give way to a lower expression. You have been bought over by the coolest sense of beauty, and your brightest outlook on life would not just let your face be without a smile to gladden the next person. That's how good a person you are already!

Your voice,
You are not a great worshipper because your voice is feminine but you are a great worshipper because your voice is so influential. Something about your voice that gets the message across, brings the feelings on board, draws the tears on hold, and reaches the depth of the soul. I believe even angels dances to your tune and worships at your lead. You are not only gifted, You are the gift, and God's body on earth is blessed to have you.

Your hands,
If I were an instrument, I would customize you for me alone. Raw passions flows through your hands like rivers of living waters. The families of guitars owes their relevance to men like you, at your slightest touch, sister LEAD screams her best for the world, and at your thickest tap, brother BASS moonwalk his all for the world. Mother KEYBOARD is not left out, she undresses herself, hides under your palm,

And deliver sons and daughters in an instance of joyful melody just because you stroked her hairs. You teach music, you talk music, you see music, I can safely say you as a package are a music to the soul always.

Your heart,
This is the hardest for me to talk about. Yet, i must say the truth. You do have a heart of gold, God must have invented it himself. You always put others first, you give all you can without thinking twice, and your dedication and consistency towards things that are dear to you is credit-worthy, and especially towards those that are dear to you. Your heart can easily be found in your to-do list. You are self-motivated and highly effective. You blog as if you discovered the internet yourself, you tweet as if you are next door neighbour to your followers. Your facebook runs as channels tv and african magic at the same time. From whatsapp to Bbm, from Linkedin to nairaland, from googleplus to skype, you salt the world with such uniqueness that is truly you. With you, the fun, the love, and the truth about God never ends.

What shall I say of your distinct sense of humour which even ladies or sisters if you like can't seem to get enough of, your silence which serves as the template of inspiration and meditation while everyone is busy moving on, you are busy observing and writing songs. Your friendships, your performances, your favorites, your dreams, your legacies and all, will surely take forever to abbreviate in a little tribute such as this!

For you keep pouring yourself into as many privileged to know you, your meekness and eagerness to learn, be better, and do more is very outstanding among many your peers. Your generation is fabulously hopeful because you are in it.

Why this short tribute, the reason is not far fetched. God's own homeboy, Our precious EmmyG turned another year today. At such a time as this, I wanna join the rest of the world, the host of heaven, and the loved ones to celebrate God's Personal Project Praise on Earth; Oduntan Emmanuel EmmyG.

I really want you to know that you are the best of your kind. You are truly AWESOME, AWESOME EMMYG! AGE IN GRACE.

We love You.
Piges Stin Erimos.

The NewTerrorists in Churches

Latest news reports are that five terrorist cell groups have been operating in certain churches. Church security identifies these as Bin Sleepin, Bin Arguin, Bin Fightin, Bin Complainin, and Bin Missin.

Their leader, Osama Bin Lucifer, trained these groups to destroy the Body of Christ. The plan is to come into the church disguised as Christians and to work within the church to discourage, disrupt, and destroy the pastors and the churches.

A tiny cell known by the name Bin Workin is actually the only effective counter terrorism force in the church. This group appears to be very weak. It is easy to detect because it is the only group that is active in service to Christ. Unlike the true terrorist cells, the Bin Workin team does not blend in with whoever and whatever comes along. Bin Workin visibly does whatever is needed to uplift and encourage the Body of Christ.

We have noticed that the Bin Workin cell group has different characteristics than the others. They have Bin Watchin, Bin Waitin, Bin Prayin, and Bin Longin for their Master, Jesus Christ, to return. Which cell group do you belong to?

2 Thessalonians 3:11-For we hear that there are some, which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

Mark 13:32-3-But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father, Take ye heed, watch and pray: For ye know not when that time is.

These same groups have been detected in other denominations. The Office of Home Church Security is coordinating its efforts with the Bin Workin group to interdict the activities of the five terrorist cells now known to be active throughout many American churches. Report all sightings to proper authorities.

That's Not My Problem

A mouse looked through a crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife opening a package; what food might it contain?

He was aghast to discover that it was a mouse trap!

Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning, "There is a mouse trap in the house, there is a mouse trap in the house."
The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Mr. Mouse, I can tell you this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me; I cannot be bothered by it."

The mouse turned to the pig and told him, "There is a mouse trap in the house."

"I am so very sorry Mr. Mouse," sympathized the pig, "but there is nothing I can do about it but pray; be assured that you are in my prayers."

The mouse turned to the cow, who replied, "Like wow, Mr. Mouse, a mouse trap; am I in grave danger, Duh?"

So the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected to face the farmer's mouse trap alone.

That very night a sound was heard throughout the house, like the sound of a mouse trap catching its prey. The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught.

In the darkness, she did not see that it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught.

The snake bit the farmer's wife.

The farmer rushed her to the hospital.

She returned home with a fever. Now everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient.

His wife's sickness continued so that friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock. To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.

The farmer's wife did not get well, in fact, she died, and so many people came for her funeral the farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide meat for all of them to eat.

So the next time you hear that someone is facing a problem and think that it does not concern you, remember that when the least of us is threatened, we are all at risk.

SHORTSTORY; AT THE BARBER'S SHOP...

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation and talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! Because people do not look to God for help is why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

Award Winning Gospel Soul Group, Sensere Readies New Album, Kingdom Therapy, For May 12th Release

sensere_KT_CD_cover_4Gospel’s premier soul troupe, Sensere, is set to unveil their long awaited new album, KINGDOM THERAPY, available May 12th. Sailing in as the follow-up to their critically acclaimed first release, SOUL OF FUTURE WORSHIP VOLUME 1 (which spawned the hit "Got Jesus"), the Miami-based group’s newest offering is already earning thumbs up from critics weeks before its spring release date.
Kicked off by the ever-delectable groove “Love,” available now at iTunes, the song shines as yet another showcase of the group’s signature neo-soul/R&B-fused stylings likened to that of The Temptations, Earth Wind & Fire, and Motown’s “hey day” showmen.
But, while tipping their musical hats to the sounds of yesteryear, lyrically, the themes that fill the album couldn’t be any more current. Evidence of this can be found aboard standout cuts like the guitar-driven, soul stirring "Faith Equals Happiness," the funky, horn-assisted "Radical Praise," and the spirited Jackson Southernaires remake "Don't Look Down on a Man.” Collectively offering lines of hope, love, and faith in God in times of despair, the album’s encouraging messages will soothe, shift, and sustain listeners wherever their present walk with God leads them.
Listen to "Radical Praise" below:
KINGDOM THERAPY beams as yet another noteworthy addition to the group’s already decorated musical resume, a feat assisted by the project’s craftsmen. Produced by James “Jdubb” Wright, all songs on the release were written by group members Terrell “T2” Terry, Dwayne Charlton, Brian Williams, and Wright. Their inclusion not only brought their gripping testimonies to life via the songs, but also helped to make it an even more personal venture to connect with listeners.
Fans looking to get more of Sensere should keep their ears and eyes open for the announcement of the group’s forthcoming Stateside summer tour. The trek will also include pit stops at radio in select markets.
About Sensere

Beyond Easter...

I remembered my primary school days
when teachers asked class prefects to
write names of talkatives. There was
this squad called 'odeyshi'; whenever
names of talkatives were being
written, that's when they made the
most noise.
This is because no matter how many
times or how hard you caned them
they would never scream or cry.
Their names were always at the top
and always had dp (double
punishment) or tp (triple punishment)
attached.
The serious ones on the other hand did
not really make noise but sometimes
just whispering to someone made
them find their names on the list of
talkatives .

When the teacher came for the list to
flog, those 'odeyshi'; knew
themselves so they would even not
wait till their names were mentioned.
As the teacher began to mention the
names the serious student would hear
his name and say "Oh Sir but i did not
talk?" Then the teacher would reply
"But how come your name is on the
list?"
So by all means the serious students
would be caned. It turns out that all
those who were jumping about and
disturbing end up being equal with
those who just whispered.
This is how the end is going to be.
Some people have signed contracts to
hell, so won't be surprised to see
themselves there. With this kind of
mentality they make sure they really
enjoy life before their death.

Beloved what about you? Would you go
to church, sing, dance, play
instruments, usher, pay huge offerings,
'kabee', 'kaboo' and 'kabaa' (blowing
tongues) only to find yourself in hell?
Don't let the little sin you could have
avoided lead you to hell...

Beyond Easter,
Forgive others their sins as God has
forgiven you. Make good use of your
days on earth so that you can give a
proper account to your maker.

All it was for...

Beloved,

Of a truth we are not mourning a death, we are celebrating a LIFE. Not just the life that was cut short, but the life that was brought forth.

While he took his last breath on the cross, his last words were; Father, it is Done! And he cried your name to the ancient through the ages that if you can hear and heed, then you are God's very own forever just as he is. The middle wall of partition broken permanently. Jews and Gentiles can both become a NEW MAN IN GODTHROUGH HIM.

I believed when he cried his last, he was calling out your name!

Mark  15:37 And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.

And when he rose again the third day, his first words must have read; I came back just for you, I am the one you have been waiting for all your life, I AM HE!

Revelation  1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

As you celebrate Easter in this season, REMEMBER IT WAS ALL FOR YOU, Spend every second and take every breath in life to make it count that he truly came and finished the job for you.

May God Bless You and Your Family Tremendously this season.

Never forget, christmas gave us an history together but it was easter that gave us a future together; in his presence forever more.

Happy Easter Celebration!!!

The Three Kinds of Believers

Are you spending completely on things that pass away like a vapor–or are you investing significantly in the things of God, which do not?

I’m something of a student of human behavior, and I’ve come to some conclusions about how most people in the world relate to God and his gifts. With regard to those who do make some kind of attempt to serve God, I’ve observed that there are basically three kinds of believers in this world.
They’ve compartmentalized the sphere of all their resources, whether time, talent, or treasure, and haven’t brought these under the Lordship of Christ.

1. Earthly-minded Believers

The first category of people I’ve identified is a large one, perhaps because it requires the least thought. These believers accept what God has given them and use their resources for their own comfort, pleasure, and personal gratification.
The Earthly-minded Believer sees money the way nearly everyone else does. He wants to keep as much of it as possible, and use it for his own personal enjoyment of life.
There’s nothing wrong with enjoying the financial fruits of our labor. God wants us to do so. The important question is this: Are you spending completely on things that pass away like a vapor—or are you investing significantly in the things of God, which do not?

2. Christian Philanthropists

The next category of believers is one that gives more attention to giving. These are believers who have come to the conviction that God has blessed them, and they should give back a portion of what they’ve received to help support ministry and missions. For them, this is somewhat of a duty, an obligation to fulfill, like paying taxes. There’s an “oughtness” that guides them. They write a check or volunteer in some way, but there is no joy or purpose in it.
Perhaps it’s the way they were taught by their parents. Perhaps it is motivated by the sense of duty so that the church can fund some project overseas, or pay its budget, or provide some program. Perhaps it’s giving out of guilt. The important distinction is that it is “doing what I have to.” As a result, it’s not something particularly pleasant or enjoyable.
Kingdom investors are motivated by the rewards that the Bible promises.

3. Kingdom Investors

There is one other kind of Christian giver and, as you might predict, this one is harder to find among us. The Kingdom Investors are people who grow in Christ, who dig deeply into his Word, and who come to see their resources in a brand new way.
Kingdom Investors see all that they have and all that they own as their sacred trust, theirs to use strategically for the advancement of Christ and his eternal purposes. Their time, talent and treasure is no longer an end in itself, but a medium, a palette to be used in the beautiful art of serving God.
Who are these people? You’ll find them across the spectrum. The Kingdom Investors deploy whatever time, talent, and treasure they have available, and it’s a pleasing truth that while not everyone can invest great sums of financial wealth, everyone can give their time and their personal talents. These are all things that God has given so that we might find the unique joy of giving them back.

Do you merely see your giving as an obligation or duty, or does it give you joy?
