ASK!

Our culture has somehow instilled in us a bizarre notion that to ask for help amounts to an admission of failure.

But some of the most powerful successful admired people in the world to me seem to have something in common, they ask.Don’t be afraid to ask for help. You just might get it for free.

What could be the worst response? “No” or “ Oh, I’m sorry”. It simply means your answer isn’t probably ready or you’re asking the wrong person.Permit me to say, ASK GOD

As long as you ask not, the answer will always be NO.

And when you ask, there’s always a possibility of a NO on the other side of the request.

If we don’t allow for that NO, we are not actually asking. We are either begging or demanding.

Don’t die in silence thinking no one can help you. Help is closer than you think.

IF YOU ARE A SINGLE LADY, THEN YOU NEED TO READ THIS ๐Ÿ‘‡

So, sister Grace fainted today at the fellowship. We just finished sharing the grace o and Bro Gbenga now said that he had some announcements to make.

We now sat down to listen to the announcement. He started with thanking God for the wonderful things he's been doing in our fellowship. He now broke the news of Bro John's marriage to sister Pelumi. We were just about to clap when we heard "gbooaa" from the back seat. Sister Grace haff slump for ground.

Some brothers ran out to get cold water while we lifted her to a chair. When they now poured her cold water, she woke up and started crying; accusing Bro John of breaking her heart. That's how matter started.

Bro John said he never proposed marriage to her, that he was just helping her grow spiritually. Osheey fertilizer.

Sister Pelumi now said she and Bro John had been engaged for three years. Sister Grace now fainted again.

Me, I just stood there trying not to laugh. See drama nauuu๐Ÿ˜‚. Shebi I warned sister Grace? When she was washing, cleaning and cooking for Bro John. She even prayed and fasted for his ministry singlehandedly. For her mind nah, she don see husband. I warned her but she didn't listen? No, rather she accused me of being jealous.

See me, see Bro John nauu... With his over-sized coat and i-don-suffer-for-your-hand pointed shoes. Not to mention the way he was always shaking his head all the time in the name of prayer. But it didn't matter what I thought of him, sister Grace have already married him. She even told me she will shock me with Bro John. But see nah, the shocker is now the shockee๐Ÿ˜‚

The matter was now postponed till our next meeting as sister Grace refused to wake up upon all the water that they poured her.

Bro Gbenga now told me to help and carry her home on my back. I never knew he hated me that much. Of all the people there, he chose me to carry sister Grace, as fat as she is, on my back. Wo. When I did not kill Jesus Christ... Me I have laid all my burdens on Calvary. ๐Ÿ™„

Anyways, I am on my way home now.I told them I need to get annointing oil from a nearby shop. They go wait for me tire.

If you refuse to define your relationship with the opposite sex and you get shocked and faint, it's you that will carry yourself home.

You Promise Not To Laugh After Reading This Experience?

Okay.

So, here's my story.

She walked into the banking hall, busy bank as usual just this Friday, her pointed shoe announcing her arrival minutes before you saw her.

She wore that kind of dress that convinces you that heaven is missing an angel.

The aroma of her perfume would easily finish a bowl of eba for its sweetness.

And the phone which she gingerly held to her ear, without minding the security guy frantically waving at her that calls are not allowed in banking halls, will cost a small fortune.

She stepped forward, picked a deposit slip and searched frantically for a pen.

About five guys offered her their pens but, shame to bad people, she took mine maybe because I was closest to her.

After a while, or a long while because time stood still, she stood up and inched closer to me.

She whispered: "Please can you spell 'thirty' for me?"

I looked down at her deposit slip in surprise.

She had written: 'tarty tausanh'!

A Lil Reminder About Reading...

I've heard young people say, "I'm not a book lover". ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

How then do you learn if you don't read?๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป Everything in life evolves around reading. You may not have read any book this year but you're reading this post right now.

Reading is learning. You learn by reading. Reading is as easy for you as you visit your social media pages daily.๐Ÿ˜Š

A chapter per day does the magic๐Ÿ˜Š

Reading books keep you abreast of some information that no one would have ordinarily handed down to you.

Books are great teachers.

Books answer most questions you may never be able to ask anyone.

You know another trick I found out to reading, it's via audiobooks. I read & I love to read. But sometimes it can be difficult to read. Audiobooks, from the name, are books that are in audio format

All you have to do is plug in your earpiece and you don't have to bother much. Now my trips are not a waste. I don't just listen to music but also books

You have no idea how many you'd have covered in few weeks.

WINDBREAKS by Stephen Wholesome

Windbreaks are good.

Worth noticing is the way a branch flaps against the other in tirade of bent submission to the supernatural power that drives them, the noise the leaves produce when the wind forces them to perform this strenuous duty, and the fear the noise produces in the mind of a human lying down in the house as if the walls are the ones receiving this merciless torment.

Windbreaks are great.

But are those the most fascinating things about windbreaks? For me, maybe. I love the sounds the trees give — the quiet noise that transports me from honks, tyre-screeches and blares to a serene land broken only by the silence of the trees when the wind drives its might against them.

For the ecologist, windbreaks serve their name well. They arrest and contain the rage of the wind as it flies all the way from the four corners of the earth with a mind to tear a house apart. They receive the lashes of the wind. At times, they break an arm, two or more. And when they break a leg, the only leg they have, that results into their fall and becomes their end, just in the process of protecting the wall.

Who are your windbreaks? Tell me. They don’t need to break an arm or leg for you. They just need to be strongly built and committed to you that you can go to sleep with your two eyes closed.

Talking of ‘strongly built’, your windbreaks should be able to stand the test of time. And of ‘commitment,’ your windbreaks should be devoted to you at all cost. But is there anyone like that? Do we have anyone like that in our lives? You can answer the question. Whatever your answer is, when next you’re building a home, make a good consideration for windbreaks.

You have this person who keeps crossing your mind, and you have this VERY strong urge to call the person up on the phone.

However, due to pressure of work and other activities, you keep procrastinating.

Then suddenly, your phone rings. Guess who?

This same person you've been thinking about [who you still haven't called yet]

At this point, you feel "Ouch! And I was gonna call him/her o". When you tell the person, s/he probably goes "๐˜–๐˜ฉ ๐˜ฑ๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฆ๐˜ป๐˜ฆ!๐Ÿ˜"

It's kinda weird to explain but the truth still remains that this person had always been on your mind, only that you didn't complete the thought-process with the corresponding action

...and that alone makes all the ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ.

This week, put the love in your heart to action.

Love isn't love until you give it

Make that call today!
