Pastor E.A Adeboye to pray for Buhari, Jonathan in Abuja Tomorrow

President Goodluck Jonathan and his successor-in-waiting, Muhammadu Buhari, are likely to meet the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Abuja tomorrow, during which the man of God will pray for two of them.
The event is the annual “Day out with God of Daddy G.O.”, which is taking place at the International Conference Centre, Abuja at 5pm on Sunday and to be attended by other top-ranking Nigerian political, business and religious leaders.
The event, according to the organisers, is meant to provide an avenue for Adeboye to pray for outgoing President Jonathan and the President-elect, Buhari, and his new administration, which is coming at a time of great socio-economic challenges that require the prayers and support of all Nigerians to succeed.
Chairman of the Planning Committee and Provincial Pastor of RCCG FCT 9, Pastor Akinremi Bolaji, confirmed that both leaders as well as the Vice President-elect, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, had been invited to the event and that there was indication they would attend.
“This year’s edition of the Day Out with God of Daddy G.O. is another opportunity for Pastor Adeboye to prophesy into the lives of Nigerians and provide an opportunity for the outgoing and the incoming one to be prayed for by the man of God,” Bolaji said.
Other top politicians expected at the event, are the Governor-elect of Benue, Dr. Samuel Ortom, who is a deacon in RCCG, Senator Binta Garba from Adamawa State, Senator Remi Tinubu and the Zonal Pastor of FCT 9 , Kehinde Agboola, who has just been elected into the House of Representatives.
Pastor Adeboye has asked Nigerians to support Buhari with unceasing prayers so as to be able to surmount the huge challenges that lie ahead of his government.
Adeboye will be flying into Abuja from Jos, the Plateau State capital, where he has been holding Workers and Ministers conference over the weekend.
