Awo Boys (the funny inhabitants of the male hostel- Awolowo Hall) stormed Amphi Theatre, venue for the UJCM drama night. This is not a surprise as its the practice of these "unique" set of students to attend programmes like these, not particularly for the programme's intended purpose ....but to induce their funny, sometimes absurd comments to the UJCM drama live performance.
Every start of the session, the University Joint Christian Mission (UJCM); a conglomeration of the Christian fellowships on OAU campus as I can describe it. The theme for this tenure is Agapate Allelous (love one another, Jh 13:34) which started from Sept. 3 with Agape Demonstrated (Drama night) -to show love at work and our love walk, in drama ministrations
Sept. 4: Agape Proclaimed (Word Night) -to minister to the saints on the love of God, and how we should walk in love.
The programme continues with Agape Revealed (Choir Night) -to minister God's love in songs ministrations, 10pm on Sept. 5.
Agape Defined (Saturday humanitarian service) -to practice love to the campus community by mobilizing all believers for general cleaning on Sept.6 and Agape Personified (Thanksgiving service) on Sept.7 all at Amphi Theatre.
Its the new commandment for the new session...LOVE
