Peace in a sure Promise.

Of course! There have been instances of a woman waiting for a man for years before they finally get together. Its nothing new.
When you have concluded that your intended is the best for you, there is this strength and will to wait even till the end of the world for that person.

Trouble begins when you begin to meet people with finer qualities and quantities than your intended and they want you. This is where the test of faithfulness comes. And since you haven't been bound by any particular sacrament...how easy it is to give in without remorse to the better package.

But there is a promise that flows from glory and majesty...there is a package that flows from the very throne of God...there is a man God intends for you as his daughter and a woman for his son. He may not be the richest or finest or most eloquent you have met in life but he is the best for you...because God said so. And to choose by your own discretion is a fatal error. You don't see the next moment...your own choice may have an accident and be crippled for the rest of his life...he may die young leaving you to take care of three kids...his interest in you may wear out...he may lose his job and the subsequent ones may never measure up to the one that caught your eye in the first place...in short, his best may be the status you were attracted to after which he begins to decelerate in life.

Of course...tragedies happen even to those who marry within Gods design. But herein lies the difference...they are not alone! With God, they can leap over walls of obstacles and they can rout whole legions. You can't...because you are on your own.
There is a peace in following Gods will no matter how absurd it seems at the time. He is not imprudent. He has considered every detail of your life before coming to His conclusion for you. What have you considered? What do you even know to consider?

Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding.
God help us. Amen. -Adepoju Aderonke

JUST A PHONE CALL....did it

MY Testimony
Hi, i am Rose (Not real name). I just want to share what God has done in my life and i
hope that this will encourage all young graduates out there.

Its been years since i got born again though backsliding at times but God is a merciful and loving God. After completing my National Diploma in Biotechnology, i started hunting for a job, i stayed at home for 5 months while my friends were doing their post studies and others working. It was stressful as i thought i will immediately find a job and atleast help out at home as my mother is not working and my dad earns just enough to buy food.

I kept applying for jobs for the whole 5 months almost on a daily basis. I got rejected in each and every job i applied to. One sunday in a taxi on my way to church, i logged on facebook checking updates, an old friend just asked how i was doing and i just felt the urge of telling her about the hardship of job hunting. She gave me her uncles number who is a Gynecologist to explain my situation and maybe he might help, i called him and he could not help. I kept reading the bible at times, praying and going to church, i felt as though God was away from me because whenever i checked my emails, all i saw was application regrets. I eventually gave up, stopped praying and for
2 weeks, i didn't go to church. It was overwhelming! On one thursday i got a call from the gynecologist inviting me to a day at his laboratory. I went there and saw what they did. After few hours of the laboratory tour he called me at his office and offered me a 6 months learnership at his clinic and a next year he is taking me back to school to study Medical Biotechnology for a year 'everything paid' and i will then have a secure job there I knew on that second that God just showered me with blessings that i felt they were beyond what i asked for. GOD showed me His grace and mercy. The blood of Jesus really is doing wonders. I got a learnership, bursary and future secured job without any application just a phone call. GOD is amazing, He will never leave nor forsake us, He is a faithful God. Mark 11 vs 24. :-)

#Blessed beyond measure# Trust in Him, He will never disappoint.

What do I do when I don’t know what to do?

Wow! How many times do I hear people asking a question like that? It seems to be a daily occurrence.

Or maybe not just like that, but they want to know what to do — and they don’t know what to do. So they ask a question about what to do. (Are you following? )

Unfortunately, knowing the right thing to do is not an exact science. If only I knew every time I’m asked. As a student, I also face this question. I take refuge in some principles.
Of course, the first answer is to talk to God, but how many times have you done that and still cannot discern what He is saying. What do you do then — when you don’t know what to do?

Again, I don’t always know. Wish I did. Sometimes I do, but sometimes I simply have some principles I can share.

Here are a few suggestions when you don’t know what to do:

*Phone a friend.
Someone who knows you well. Isn’t it wonderful how God puts people in our life who can speak into our life? The challenge is often having the courage to ask and then yielding to those voices. Have you been listening to people God has been sending your way?

What would daddy or mama do?
What do the morals you were raised with say you should do? If you were raised with good principles go with them. Many times we actually know the right thing to do but our question is whether we want to do what we know is right.

Do nothing.
Don’t be afraid to not make a decision if you don’t have to. Sometimes it’s okay just to be still. In fact, sometimes that’s the best decision.

Follow your gut.
If, that is, your gut is good. And it’s very important that your gut be good. But, if you are in a good place in life, and you know you are making wise decisions in other situations, then you can often trust the voice within you.

Take a risk.
Now may be the time to put all safety concerns aside and go for it. Most risks come with an element of the unknown. You will often have to pull the trigger on moving forward without all the answers to your questions. Don’t be surprised about that. Or afraid to do it. If it is something you feel strongly about, it isn’t sinful, and it doesn’t go against some of these other principles, then GO FOR IT!

Stop worrying.
It won’t help. It won’t solve the problem. And it’s probably distracting you from making a good decision.

Walk by faith.
Hopefully you have a faith in God. If not, we need to talk. But if you are a believer, then you have access to a power greater than your ability to make a good decision. The Spirit of God lives within you. Take full advantage of that privilege.

Those are just a few suggestions when you don’t know what to do.
