FOR ALL SINGLE LADIES: Her Cry, -Esther Precious Aderinto

Her Cry

What is wrong?
Where is MR. RIGHT?
Who is my Prince?
The gist is I have been single and No guy is looking at my side, is it that am ugly? is it that I am been pursued? Is it that the right person hasn't arrived Yet? Oh GOD !!! ! what is wrong? Time is no longer on my side!!!! I am getting older, my mates all have fiance.

And so each time, I meet a guy, I begin to wish that this guy would just propose to me, I begin to imagine a wedding ceremony with the guy, I begin to behave nicer than usual just to attract his attention and so I become an hypocrite all in the name of I want a guy. I want a guy that would love me, take care of me, provide for me, take me shopping and the rest of adventure.

HEY CINDERELLA
is it only about love?
Is love the only basis on which your marriage with your Prince will last?
Love is very important
But much more important is purpose.
Have you found your purpose yet?
Purpose is your main reason here on earth.
A person without purpose is lifeless.
Purpose is the reason for your existence,
And purpose can only be found in the Creator that called forth your existence on Earth.
There must be something that two of you have passion for.
Your purpose and his purpose is what will make your marriage last. it is the driving force for a successful marriage.
There are too many failed marriages already and am sure you wouldn't want your marriage to be a failed one.
I'm here to tell you today that you are lucky to be single, you still have the opportunity to prepare yourself in God and discover your God given purpose. Your purpose can only be found in god. Your purpose will attract your MR RIGHT who will find your right shoe size and put it on for you. Let the guy find you not you finding the guy. Be original and get busy with your purpose.

Is your cow off the cliff?

Once upon a time in a faraway land, there lived a Chinese wise man and his disciple. One day in their travels,   they saw a hut in the distance. As they approached they realized that it was occupied in spite of its extremely poor appearance.

In that desolate place where there were no crops and no trees,
a man lived with his wife, three young children and a thin, tired cow. Since they were hungry and thirsty, the wise man and his disciple stopped for a few hours and were well received.

At one point, the wise man asked:
“This is a very poor place, far away from anything. How do you
survive?”

“You see that cow? That’s what keeps us going,” said the head
of the family. “She gives us milk, some of it we drink and some were make into cheese. When there is extra, we go into the city and exchange the milk and cheese for other types of food.
That’s how we survive.”

The wise man thanked them for their hospitality and left. When he reached the first bend in the road, he said to his disciple:
“Go back, get the cow, take her to the cliff in front of us, and push her off.”
The disciple could not believe what he was hearing.
“I cannot do that, master! How can you be so ungrateful? The
cow is all they have. If I throw it on the cliff, they’ll have no way to survive. Without the cow, they’ll all die!”

The wise man, an elderly Chinese man, took a deep breath
and repeated the order: “Go ahead. Push the cow off the cliff.” Though outraged at what he was being asked to do, the student was resigned to obey his master.
He returned to the hut and quietly led the animal to the edge
of the cliff and pushed. The cow fell down the cliff and died.

As the years passed by, remorse for what he had done never left the disciple. One spring day, the guilt became too much to bear and he left the wise man and returned to that little shack. He wanted to find out what had happened to that family, to help them out, apologize, or somehow make amends.

Upon rounding a turn in the road, he could not believe what his eyes were showing him. In place of the poor shack there was a beautiful house with trees all
around, a swimming pool, several cars in the garage, a satellite dish, and on and on. Three
good-looking teenagers and their parents were celebrating their first million dollars.

The heart of the disciple froze. What could have happened to the family? Without a doubt, they must have been starving to death and forced to sell their land and leave. At that moment, the student thought they must all be begging on the street corners of some city. He approached the
house and asked a man that was passing by about the whereabouts of the family that had lived
there several years before.
“You’re looking at it,” said the man, pointing to the people gathered around the barbecue.

Unable to believe what he was hearing, the disciple walked through the gate and took a few steps
closer to the pool where he recognized the man from several
years before, only now he was strong and confident, the woman was happy, and the children were now nice-looking teenagers.
He was dumbfounded, and went over to the man and asked:
“What happened? I was here with my teacher a few years ago and this was a miserable place.
There was nothing. What did you do to improve your lives in
such a short time?”

The man looked at the disciple, and replied with a smile:
“We had a cow that kept us alive. She was all we had. But one
day she fell down the cliff and died. To survive, we had to start doing other things, develop skills we didn’t even know we had.
And so, because we were forced to come up with new ways of
doing things, we are now much better off than before.”

Moral of the story: Sometimes our dependency on something small and limited is the biggest
obstacle to our growth. Perhaps the best thing that could happen to you is to push your “cow” down the cliff. Once you free yourself of the thought “it’s little
but it’s certain,” or of that idea “I am not doing great but there are people who are much worse than me” — then your life will
really change.

Is there a cow in your life that is keeping you miserable? Close year 2015 by throwing it off the cliff!

Happy 2016 in advance!

This Kind of Bread...

‎This bread isn't just flour
Mashed by heavy water balls,
Drooling from the kneading knuckles of Mama
And it's aroma of the oven's vomit.
No, not this bread

Not of Mama Rashida's canteen,
Where 8am news hover silently,
The morning rush pauses for this swallow
As 'ewa agoin' keeps the scores.
No, Not that bread

How about the surge of buy at Johnson junction,
That clouds your view? Thanks to the potholes,
The array of breads to choose when you travel.
No, not this bread

Made of ever‎, not flour
Meant to secure the future, not just satisfy the present
Bread of life, sold free, less hassle.
Of a sweet delight, strength yielded,
Brand name, Jesus

Awesome EmmyG salutes! Good evening😉

Sincerity talk By Esther Precious Aderinto

Hello guys,
I missed my usual write up,
Actually it just became my usual on facebook,
I hope never to disappear,
I guess everyone enjoyed the Christmas celebration,
Mine was quite a boring one,
Dreadfully boring,
I didn't eat the usual jollof and fried rice with chicken,
But I ate eba and ogbono soup in the afternoon,
And I ate white rice,
Gisted with my family,
Did lot of house chores,
And took a little stroll out.
It was just like every normal day.
I would like to hear how yours was?

Alright! !!!

It's time to talk,
Let's talk about Sincerity,
Sincerity,
The core of every relationship and friendship,
But yet the hardest to stand up to,
The synonym for Sincerity is honesty.

Let's go back to time,
I remember The days of been a fresher. It was one of the best moments I had because I had to make new friends (my hobby is meeting people). I remember a guy who approached me and we became friends (very good friends) but all he ever told me were lies including the course he was studying. When he eventually began to tell me the truth, I never believed a single thing he said. It was a rosy relationship at first but became a sour one after he told me that all was a lie. Today, we are not friends or probably, we are just the hi-hello kind of friends.

A relationship built out of lies can never last and that is why Sincerity matters a lot if you really want to keep your relationship. Sometimes, your Sincerity might cost you your relationship due to the gravity of your doing but in the long run, it would be for the best. Your conscience would be free having purged out the truth. Sincerity helps to develop mutual trust in your relationship. It takes courage to be sincere no matter what, REAL COURAGE I mean. So many times, it's hard to be sincere due to our ego and maintaining a good reputation of whom we are. I have asked myself these questions: is it very possible to still be sincere and honest in this 24th century where we have a lot happening? Where we have a lot to protect ourselves from? Where we have to get rich by all means even at the expense of our integrity and honesty? How hard has it become to be honest and sincere?

I ‎would end on this saying by meher Baba:
Absolute honesty is essential in one's search for God
(truth). The subtleties of the path are finer than a
Hair. The least hypocrisy becomes a wave that
washes one off the path. It is your false self that
Keeps you away from your true self by every trick
It knows. In the guise of honesty, this self even
deceives itself. For instance, your self claims, I
Love Baba. The fact is if you really loved Baba, you
would not be your false self making the self
Asserting statement".

According to Williams Shakespeare
" No legacy is so rich as honesty"
Determine to be honest and sincere even in this bias world at present. Sincerity and honesty is the key success to success in anything you do and is the key success to a successful relationship.
TRUTH=SINCERITY....
God help us.

HAPPY SUNDAY! !!!!!!!!!!!

Critics, Coaches, Cheerleaders

The Word For Today

'Like apples of gold in settings of silver is a word spoken in right circumstances.' Proverbs 25:11 NAS

Critics point out what’s wrong, and leave you feeling bad about yourself. Coaches show you what you did wrong, teach you how to do it right and leave you feeling better about yourself. Cheerleaders lift your spirits, offer their help, and assure you that you can succeed if you keep trying. So which of the three are you? If you tend to be one of those hard-driving, goal-oriented people, coaching someone may be a challenge for you.
Perhaps you’re from the school of thought that believes a pay cheque should be encouragement enough—especially if an employee is being generously compensated. If so—beware!

You’re stuck in the Stone Age and in dire need of a mindset change! If you want people to be productive, learn how to build them up. You say, ‘But it’s not my natural inclination to want to coach poor performers. I just want them out.’ Hold on there; you’re dealing with a human being, a person loved and valued by God!

And with a little encouragement, some hand-holding and lots of communication, you may end up with a level of productivity and loyalty the cocky superstar isn’t capable of. Yes, if you’ve ‘a bad apple’ in the bunch you need to get rid of them before they infect the whole barrel. But before you resort to firing someone, try firing them up!

Some of the people you work with just need to be presented with a clear vision, shown how they can be part of it and enlightened about the incentives and rewards that come from being part of the team that’s fulfilling a vision.

EVERYMAN A LEADER, Learning from the 20% by Adedotun Olumide

Last week on the everyman a leader series, we considered the Pareto principle together, Pareto principle the 80/20 rule, actually there are several things to learn from the principle we learnt last week.

The individualistic approach
Mr Pareto observed that 80% of the land in Italy was owned by the 20% few citizens of Italy; I suggest that the few 20% developed capacities in themselves that make them excellent enough to own the most of Italy. I presume that the 20% did something differently from the rest of the Italians.
looking at the present times that we are in, we will discover the same peculiarities happen in the world of business, sports, politics, public speaking, information technology, Journalism and the in all the whole sectors of world economy.

Bill Gates, Carlos Slim and Warren Buffet to mention a few have dominated the rich list and the investment world for years now, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have won the world best footballer between them in the past 8 years dominating the game of football, Facebook Mark Zukenberg have remained at the forefront of the social media for the past 10 years.
What makes this people exceptionally different?
There are pastors and there are pastors, teachers and there are teachers, politicians and there are politicians, Accountants and there are Accountants, Governors and Governors.

Take note, what makes you exceptional is the ability to outlive time and contribute indelibly.
The degree of your level of influence is a revelation of who you are.

But first
God pre-exist life, our source is in God and in him alone. If you are a Christian, excellent and if you are not, I admonish you to be one. Our source is from God and we must put him as the first personality important to making our vision a fulfilled one. Many have failed putting God behind them in their pursuits in life.

Basic questions
What have God called you to do? What is he saying to you? What has he naturally gifted you to do? What has he put in you as your natural drive? This questions are important because it will be foolish if we are caught with the wind and forget him who pre-exist the world and created us with unique gifts to dominate the world. Our source of wisdom is in God and he alone is our adequacy.
That settled

“Go to the ant, ye sluggard, consider her ways and be wise… proverbs 6:6
Considering her ways
Having understand what we are divinely wired for, we need to learn well enough to discover capacities for the assignment, learning from those who have gone ahead of us. It is is necessary to tailor our lives excellently in like manner as those who have done excellently well ahead of us.

Note however
It is necessary to note, that although we learn from mentors, we do not follow them blindly, knowing that our purposes may not be exactly the same thing.
We should also understand, that we are not learning the vices of some of this people because the good outlives the bad, truth outlives a lie.

Thirdly, we must maintain a positive outlook to live, in studying the lives of this great men, picking out values that are peculiar to you and your goals.
“And these things that happened are examples for us. These examples should stop us from wanting evil things like those people did. 1 Corinthians 10:6 ERV
These people have gone ahead of us so that we may learn from them, in case we notice a certain issues that was wrong and causes them much in their lives, it is to learn from them. We learn every way possible (observation, research, communication etc.)
You don’t start preparing for war on the war day
It is only by learning intelligently from the mannerism of this great people that we can avoid certain avoidable problems they did not avoid, learn doggedness from where they learnt doggedness and so on.

Next week on everyman a leader series would cover certain virtues of this wonderful people.

God bless
Shalom!
